
In keeping with my drive to finish anything and everything before this baby comes, today I finished this baby blanket that I started over a year ago. Here is the pattern for these cute layered flowers I used to decorate the edge.

Bottom Layer: *ch 2, 3 tr, ch 2, slst* repeat 8 times (9 petals) fasten off
Middle Layer: *ch 2, 3 tr, ch 2, slst* repeat 6 times (7 petals) fasten off
Top Layer: *ch 1, 3 dc, ch 1, slst* repeat 4 times (5 petals) fasten off
Adjust the size of your magic circle so that each center hole is smaller than the layer above. I made the top layer as tight as possible and adjusted each layer from there. Carefully tie the remaining tails together to set the ring size.

Use the tails from the section above to sew each section together at each petal. Only stitch close to the center so that the petals are loose, then clip the tails.
